Ok for about 6 months then totally useless as everything sticks to it. Sent it back to scanpan and they said it was an issue with built up residue, they said they would properly clean one half to show how the pan would look with proper cleaning. My Scanpan Classic skillet is flaking around the curved part of the skillet near the base, as well as a piece in the center of the skillet. Skillet was purchased in 6/2004, so it made it about 4 yrs before the flaking started. I never use more than medium heat for cooking. Have not contacted Chef's ...

Had our scanpan for more than 10 years, Though several were little more than heavy aluminum for the last 7 or so.

Easy clean up - can take from stove/oven to sink and clean with warm water. If by chance you really stick something, like my brother did with parsnips, just soak a short time in water with a little soap and it comes right out! I love the pans - have a whole set.

I love these Scanpan pans. I wasn't a non-stick believer at first but after more than several years of cooking with them, I now can't live without them. The lifetime warranty is fantastic - I had to return one pan several months ago and they gave me a new one, no questions asked.
