I agree with other reviewers on this Sony Sonic rubbish. I have the same error messages saying 'insert disc' when there is already a properly formated disc in. Also 'the disc may be dirty'. It's just come out of a new packet. Please please don't buy this. Incidentally Dell put this in their Desk Top ...

I have spent many nights up late at night trying to figure why a perfectly formated CD-R is not working. It came with my laptop and now I have no clue as to what to do at this point.

Sony Sonic has little to redeem itself. For a company as large as Sony, this effort is less than impressive. Disks are continually rejected as being faulty (dirty, etc.) even when they are of good quality. The greatest satisfaction this software offers is when it is uninstalled!

Where do I start with what is wrong with the Sony Sonic, first of all it starts up but very slow. Sometimes you have to restart you PC to start the application.
The interface views nice but is too basic. Not enough options.
Burning CD:
- It tells you that it can't fit 639 MB of data on a 700 MB ...
