    I bought the Pioneer DVR-3100 to compliment my Toshiba 42" plasma in the lounge, but through no fault of the DVR or TV, I cant put it in there as it looks too cluttered with set-top boxes, so I put it in the bedroom with my Sanyo 5.1 dvdplayer and sony vhs.     The Pioneer DVR-3100 is now below £200, this stylish recorder has the feature of i-link or dv in/out.

    BEWARE - Pioneer's replacement DVR220 does NOT have DV in/out i-link as standard - for this you have to fork out an extra £100 for the dvr320.

    DVR-3100 is great for camcorder use ...
