I don't like this Morphy Richards 48280 bread maker. It's poorly designed. Bread container is upright. This machine doesn't provide warm conditions, for dough to rise. So therefore your kitchen needs to be reasonably warm. The instructions aren't that clear. I tried wholemeal bread as advised. The ...

I have been using the Morphy Richards 48280 about 4 times a week for the past 6 months. At first I followed recipes in booklet and although most were edible results were very inconsistent even though I am carefull to measure ingredients accurately.

I bought this Morphy Richards 48280 breadmaker thinking it was going to be great. My first loaf I made was the large 2 pound. At first it started out fine then it started struggling to kneed the dough I wasn't that pleased.
A few days later I made a medium 1/12 pound loaf it worked fine no struggl ...

Not even a full fortnight! My husband never keeps receipts and boxes for stuff so consequently the only avenue of return was to contact Morphy Richards. The silver sticker ...

I bought the Morphy Richards 48280 Fastbake Breadmaker for £20 four or five years ago. I used it quite heavily for several months at a time and it always produced good white and 50/50 wholemeal loaves. I also produced good 100% wholemeal bread too, but it took a little tweaking from their rec ...

This Morphy Richards 48280 broke down after 6 months use. Breadpan stuck in the machine. Noisy, difficult to remove spatula from bread.

Never had a bread maker before we got our Morphy Richards one so no comparison. Only had this one 5 weeks. I have found it okay up to now, however, as suggested it is necessary to keep adjusting recipes when different flour types used. Never had a loaf that has not been edible.
