I bought my car back in 1999 over 2000/2001 totally rebuilt it to a standard factory condition.I only drive it in the summer as its always raining in the UK but its worth the wait. Great handling car,great to drive(no computers or crap like that to get in the way). If you are thinking of getting one ...

My first car and favourite.
They are increasing greatly in price due to the classic factor.
Raced at Bathurst and have won a heap of rallies.
SOHC 2.0 Litre Pinto packs a punch.

I owned mine for 12 years, and I bought what I thought was a good car, but it turned into a monster, so I spent the next 4 years rebuilding and modifying it up to a much better condition. I owned a Ford mk2 escort RS2000 a few years ago and i must say it was the best car i have owned or driven.
