I got my yellow Labrador Retriever when he was 3 months. He was crate trained and easy going. He's 10 months now and I really love him. He's a challenge though, I run with him and he wants to go to other people, which I don't like. He chews everything I give him up, including his bed. He does s ...

Carbon - thats my 1 year old is a great dog. The way he comes to us wagging his tail when we reach home at the end of the day is worth everything on Earth. He is caring and good at understanding our emotions. He would never bother us when he rightly senses our preoccupation.

We have a 4 month yellow lab and she is great. She's really friendly and was so easy to house train. She has tons of energy and keeps us all very active from walking and playing. We took her to the lake and she LOVED it, spent all day swimming and playing fetch in the water. I could not recommend a ...

We got a yellow lab when I was about 11 years old and she lived for 12 years with nary a problem (medical or otherwise). Everyone in my neighbourhood loved her, she was so good with people, and was (honestly)) the smartest dog I've ever met. I can not recommend this breed highly enough!

    Sadly, beca ...

A good Labrador is hard to better! They are loving, affectionate and eager to please you. All they want is company and cuddles. Labs love everyone. My black Lab, Buddy is five, and is definitely one of my best friends.
Labradors are lovely. There is a reason why they are the most popular breed, and ...

I have two black Labrador Retrievers: Ben and Holly. Ben is an old man now at 13 years old. Holly is his young pal and she's coming up for 3 years old.
We found Ben to be a handful when he was younger. He loved to explore - sometimes to his folly. He pulled a lot on his lead. He twice escaped from ...

Why would you even think about buying a different breed?
I don't think that a labrador would bite your child, they don't even bark much.
Buster (I didn't name him) is nothing short of fantastic. He cost us 350 quid as a pup from breeders who didn't want him because he has a wonky set of teeth - no ...

I brought Bonnie, my Labrador Retriever, over 12 months ago now and she is my baby! She is house trained, a fab companion and loves a good walk. I take her out for at least 1.5 hours to 2 hours every day to allow her to let off steam. Labs get on well with other dogs and even cats, this is one of ...
