Folks that work at Shanti Lodge Guest House, Bangkok, are great. Good food, near the river inexpensive. Great spot with veggie food, no smoking, easy access and wonderful staff. Rooms by the street can be noisy.

Bangkok, Shanti Lodge Guest House - I am a 50 year old grandmother who stayed here with my son and his girlfriend while backpacking in 2002. We were all happy with the place and although a little way out of the centre we did not find this to be a problem as there was always a tuk tuk around. The sta ...
