    I bought this for a long trip (3 years) but it is not consistent enough in the way that it functions and it also appears to have contributed quite badly to destructing around 5 or 6 motorcycle batteries.

    this Datatool System 3 alarm is very sensitive an effective which at the end of the day is what we all want .

    30sec self arm. Everytime I disarm the alarm and wait 5 mins it goes off. It's a great kit to have on your bike because its works great and very load.

    Who pays attention to alarms? When my Datatool System 3 motorbike alarm goes wrong with age it requires your bike to be collected by a dealer in a van and carted off. If you can find a dealer. These things should be built to last the life of a motorcycle, not fall apart after a few years.

    It automatically arms itself after 30 seconds whether you like it or not which cannot be overridden or adjusted. This means before you have got your gloves and helmet off its re-armed itself not allowing you to get into the rear under seat compartment because there is a tamper switch. I'm finding my ...

    Alarms are a pain. Too secure for their own and the user's good. I've had the Datatool System 3 motorbike alarm on two bikes and had problems both times.     Datatool System 3 is a very expensive system but it is a Cat 1 alarm and works very very well, giving you various response sounds when deactivated to let you know what happened in your absence.

    The Datatool System 3 motorcycle alarm has been used in all weathers on my single cylinder Aprilia Pegaso for 10,000 miles.
