Had a Logitech TrackMan Wheel for over 6 years now. has never broke, occasionally the sensors require cleaning (takes seconds with minimal effort).
If you have a computer (or even a laptop) this is an essential bit of kit. You will not regret it. I cannot see why these have not made the convention ...

Been using this Logitech TrackMan Wheel for a few months now, takes a bit of getting used to and I really like it. Nice and comfortable in your hand, Small Footprint and no elbow/wrist movement means less chance of RSI. Is a bit of a change from a standard mouse if you're not used to a trackball, ...

Overall a good piece of equip. I use it for gaming and have had some decent success with it, DPI is hard to determine and not easily found. Don't know if it can be increased? However saves from getting mouse pad burns on the wrist, well recommend Logitech TrackMan Wheel.

It has a better ergonomic design and is easier to use than a normal mouse. It is ideal for laptops and does not need a flat surface.
Some versions freeze and require the mouse ball be lifted from the sensor (tuning the mouse upside works) to "unfreeze" it. Logitech provides free replacement if still ...

The Logitech TrackMan Wheel is an entirely optical trackball (i.e. no mechanical parts), with the exception of it's scroll wheel, possibly.
