Matsui DTR 1 is the best freeview box for internal ariels.
They work a treat i live in an area where it is hard to get freeview
    and works great, perfect picture.

the matsui dtr is easy to use & set up ,one click programming via higlighting scheduled programme list. current (original) still mostly works but some frequently used buttons worn out.

schedule programme list only one week in advance, and its a real pain to have to again delist unwanted channels in ...

I had it for for 16 months and it worked well until we went 'green' and switched it off at the mains instead of leaving it on standby. Until I looked at another forum about this problem I had no idea that it had a clock! I've never seen one nor is there a reference to one in the handbook. It has als ...

Set up of my Matsui DTR-1 freeview box was so easy. I don't have any special aerials, but I must get a good signal. The box found all the available channels.

It is a nice slim unit in silver. There is an annoying delay to change channels when the remote is pressed, but I put up with it. Had ...

I selected the Matsui DTR 1 Freeview Box partly because of price, but also because I have a Matsui video, which has been going strong for 10 - 12 years now, without any trouble at all. It is possible that I have a dodgy unit.

I am not at all happy with the Matsui DTR 1, and it is going back!

The Matsui DTR 1 has got to be the best and simplest box for under £50.
The only downside for me is that it only has a RF loopthrough not true RF Out, so you cant watch digi-tv in another room.
But apart from that its great!

I bought and returned 4 other boxes from Argos before picking th ...

I had a philips DTR 1500 but I thought it was rubbish so got a refund and bought the Matsui (which saved me £30) and have found it is much better than the Philips, there are no problems and if you use an aerial booster it works even better. It's a must buy, if you want freeview!

I bought this Matsui DTR 1 DVB Set top box from my local currys for £47.50, in the box i found:
    Scart Lead
    RF Lead
    STB
    Remote Control
    Batteries
    User Guide
When i got it home it found all of the channels in about 30 seconds and the signal level was amazing. The interactive services are ...
