After nearly 10 years with AOL I agreed to upgrade to a faster package on an 18 month contract. The speed immediately dropped below 2Mb. 8 months of phoning and being promised a faster connection each time resulted in me buying out the remaining contract at great cost. AOL have lost focus, the suppo ...

AOL know they have a problem , they customer survey is all about connectivity and speed issues. Its one of the ...

I have been with aol for many years. However error reports and oh, so slow drove me to complain. Promised better speed if I switched to the new aol high speed wireless router.
This I did, but it made no difference. So finally I asked for a MAC code. Then told since accepting the router I had a new ...

I have had nothing but trouble with AOL, to date £74.88 has been debited from my account and despite informing them by all mediums since last May I have met with no success. The service finished on the 15th May 2008, confirmed as not available on the 16th.

I have been customer of AOL for 9 years with no problem, until they merged with Carphone warehouse and Talk Talk. Now their service is appalling, they admit to having server problems and promise to address the situation within 2-3 days, to date no improvement has been made yet.

Relieved to find others with same experience, thought it could be my PC, service deteriorated over last six years and desperately keen to dump them but for who?
My upgrade to broadband appears slower than original dial-up. Their "gadgets" (Computer Check Up, One Click Fixes etc) are all show and do ...

Slow download speeds. Connection cuts out very often. Expensive unhelpful call centre staff. Takes ages to get through. Sometimes I'm onhold for up to 40 minutes. As soon as my mac code arrives I'm free!! I would not recommend to anyone.

I have decided to move provider after 6 years with AOL. Their customer service has become poor. They always keep imposing a phone package with them even after saying I dont need it. I have had enough. I am moving to O2
