Royal Bank of Scotland Business Bank Account is a prime example of what happens when a bank gets so big it has no idea what is happening within its own walls.Don't waste your time and money!

I've not had any problems with this account until they started a monthly charge. Since others offer free banking I have now closed this account.

General communication is very poor at Royal Bank of Scotland, trying to get information from them very difficult. For example, I've been trying to get information on automatic transfer of money between accounts, but without success so far. Even though this was recommended by them.

Was recommended RBS by a friend who banks with them in business. Met the business manager and went through all the forms. Very Flexible when you go overdrawn. They don't bounce anything, but still charge the £30, to a maximum of £120 in any month and call it management fees. The main drawback is all their charges from overdraft fees to interest charged on the overdraft, and charges for every item of banking ...

The staff you talk to know very little. This bank has lost my letters, cheques and mortgage application forms to name a few things. I handed a letter into the bank 8 weeks ago. Royal Bank of Scotland have now said that this would have been sent to head office to provide better business bank accou ...

I am coming up to the end of my 1st years free banking with the Royal Bank of Scotland business bank account, but I'm not happy with the charges that are soon to kick in, so I will be looking elsewhere.

This is particular to the Royal Bank of Scotland business banking direct accounts only, and branch accounts may be better. But the business banking direct group is a low fees account. I found this group full of incompetent staff and bad customer service.
