    Feel this hotel struggles to be a 4* when compared to Hotel Garbe nearby. Our room was badly situated, other Europeans seemed to have the rooms with a pool or sea view, our request to move was denied, even though people moved in next-door and within a few hours had moved.     The staff at the Amarcao de Pera Villa Gal Nautico are very polite but working under strenous conditions - I bet they are paid peanuts too!

    This four star (very much overrated hotel) will have to be demoted to a 3 or 2 star. Rooms are at 5 or 6pm, walls are thin so you can hear people walking a ...
