    Ideally located in the town centre, nice ambience in the restaurent, good food on the menu but very very bad service when I went to Chef Peking.     Good food if not eaten in excess. Good ambiance and waiting. Good prices but don't eat too much or you may find a horrible taste in your mouth like I did!

    Chef Peking in Harpendenis is superb! The best I have been to outside China Town.

    My uncle used to drive here from Royston (about 45 mins)!

    It's not cheap, but it is faultless. Highly recommended.

    I totally recommend the Chef Peking Chinese restaurant in Harpenden. It's one of the best I have ever been to. The service was superb; very fast and friendly.     We went to The Chef Peking for my 30th birthday. We had a table of 9 on a Saturday night and even though they were really busy we had excellent service all night. The food is of the highest standard. We live in Hemel and it's the best Chinese we have found for miles.

    Chef Peking in Harpenden is a truly wonderful Chinese restaurant. I've eaten in some fantastic Chinese restaurants all over the world but as far as I'm concerned, this is the very best.
