    I had no real problem with my Nationwide BS Classic Card until I tried to hire a car with it at Pisa airport. The car was already paid for, but the car hire company needed the card for a deposit.     Had the card for a number of years with no problems. Until I sent a cheque payment of £150 which they paid towards my credit card account. The cheque cleared and the money came out of my current account. The following month I received a statement which said I had missed the previous months pay ...
