All we needed to do was change the registration plate on the certificate. All correspondance by post took at least 5 working days despite everything being sent 1st class. I rang Privilege up when there adverts said they would guarantee to beat my quote on renewal.
After an eternity they did beat it by £1.
After the time with them the cost of the call and having to post things out to them all at my expense it worked out dearer.

I found that Privilege Car Insurance was the Cheapest insurance for a young driver! plus they have good customer service.

Avoid unless you never need to make a claim! Very difficult in my experience to speak to anyone who cares that you are a customer who pays for a service.

I would recommend Privilege car insurance. Quick and easy to set up. Best price I could find, and £300 cheaper than the next best. Very easy and quick to change details, get new certificate and free to cover courtesy cars etc.
