This is the worst insurance company that I have ever used. Backed by Aviva, they not only are taking months to look into my claim but also seem to be totally biased towards the third party. Complaint procedure is farcical. I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

RAC car insurance are very poor at keeping me informed on how my claim is progressing. Call centre possibly, not UK based, almost inpossible to get through on the phone, have waited upto an 1 hour when transfered from one department to another.

I wish I'd read this website before insuring with the RAC.

I had opted for RAC Car Insurance which was slightly more than most as I didn't want a dodgy company and I wanted breakdown cover from the same place.

I had an overseas licence and exchanged it for a UK one about 5 years after I got here ...

In 2007 my car was caught up in floods near Sheffield, damage came to near £ 4000.RAC insurance settled the claim without a blink. They were very quick and made the whole process easy.I have renewed my insurance with them twice since and I don't bother to get quotes from other companies. 10/1 ...
