Bought Akito Edge jacket and have been wearing it regularly since I got my first bike about 10 months ago. I have the dessert suit. Was cheap to buy and so far has been pretty good. Warm and fairly waterproof but if it's raining hard and I'm going far I put waterproofs over the top. Rode UK to Morocco in December in it and it was fine. Shame the back protector isn't standard but I bought one and it wasn' ...

All in all I've been very happy with the performance of the Akito Desert set. One thing that I did wonder from time to time was whether the Knox armour would hold up well in a spill, I found out the hard way today that it does (thanks to some diesel and a quick bounce down the road) as does the 600d ...

I would not buy this jacket. It looks nice but its not an all rounder. I wore the jacket in the rain for 10 minutes and was totally shocing, its was useless in my opinion

Would not purchase again. Jacket leaked like a sieve through the arms and both sides of the zip while the centre behind the zip stayed dry.

If you don't ride in the rain much - then these are good value for money, but if you rely on your bike for everyday transport spend a little more and get something decent.

The Akito waterproof motorcycle jacket is good cheap kit. Would highly recommend. Very comfortable on the bike and off.
Jacket is very warm also.. in summer removing lining will maintain heat levels.
All in all a very good piece of kit.. looks nice as well.

These are rubbish! Don't buy if you ride in the rain - but good in freezing cold weather.

Bought Akito waterproof jacket and got free trousers in January sales,; a regular special offer. Used them through rain,hail,etc.

+Keep out nearly all the rain
+Like the armour
+Very well priced
+I ride every day and they seem good enough
quality to last.
