    I have used online banking in different countries and now try to manage my money mainly from outside Ireland.     I believe it wouldn't be an issue if all the services would come in a bundle. For example if a person had overseas transactions to be automatically registered to manage them online too. Or if you have a loan to be able to view it and process pending payments online again automatic-without having to ...

    Why is that when setting up new standing orders or trying to transfer money to another account that you have to wait a week for a letter to come to my door. It is quicker in a branch! This defeats the purpose of online banking!

    Everything is so convoluted and complicated, they take ages to do anything and everything it seems, requires to send you a letter first.     I use online banking at about 8 banks worldwide. Bank of Ireland is by far the most unfriendly user interface. Every time they make a change it makes life more difficult.     About 3 weeks ago I submitted an inquiry about setting up banking services with Bank of Ireland for my Mum as my Dad died 5 weeks ago.
