I live in Macclesfield where Tesco`s petrol is usually as dear as the small privately owned stations and only becomes cheap when you spend your £50 pounds instore other than that I would not use them, on their tankers they state! Why pay more? I don`t, I go to Esso or Shell instead.

Why is our local Tesco petrol station (Stroud) now 4 pence higher than a local Shell garage, is it because they have the 5 pence per litre offer (after paying them £50) on at the moment. Considering the recent falls, why is it still so high?

I often use Tesco petrol stations, particularly on the way to work, as they seem to be more of them than most other stations. I get me Tesco Clubcard points as usual, but have found recently that, in my local area, both Morrisons and Shell petrol stations tend to be slightly cheaper. This may only b ...

I tried to fill up at my local Tesco filling station at 7.50am Tuesday.
The one lady on the check out seemed to be struggling as I think she was new!
I had to try a few pumps that were not marked empty, and were also locked, which seems odd for that time of the morning when they must get lots of com ...

Surely all Tesco petrol should be the same price all over the country? If Tesco was not so handy I would not think of shopping there, as it is not the cheapest Supermarket, and their motto (every little helps) only helps the store.

The Tesco petrol station at St Oswalds in Gloucester is terrible - I am self employed and so I need to pay at the pump and I always need a receipt for my accounts - but guess what - there's almost never a new paper roll in the pump when I use it - I never get a receipt and I don't have time to queue ...

Great Petrol Station. Manned 6am-12am, longer than any other in Great Yarmouth and has a good range of snacks in the kiosk. Sells Super Unleaded which has improved performance of my car

Overall, Tesco saves you money and you can collect loyalty points. Prices are cheap, depending on what part of the country you are in, I commuted daily from Norwich to Peterborough for three months at the beginning of the year and noticed massive price differences in the two cities.
