    i bought my 3.0l ssrx td ltd 5 years ago i have only had to put on tyres,(general grabbers), change exhaust, rear shocks, brake pads,timing belt and new batteries along with the normal oil,fuel and air filters every 6000 miles. it had 55000 miles when i bought it and now sits on 110000. it also runs ...

    I have owned this Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-G 3.0TD( car for almost 7 years and in that time the only things I have done to it are, 1 new exhaust box and tail pipe, I had to replace the starter motor seloniod contacts last week, and I change the engine oil and filter anually.     Toyota Hilux Surf is a fantastic machine and recommend you look for a good clean example the earlier models 2.4td get abused by people who just treat them like dumper trucks due to their age.     Amazing and safe, forget all the saloon, sports car, speed camera, speed bumps, welcome to the roads, the travel, go there and back...with a tonne on the back or not. i found my car and a real one, my wife just love to drive it...for many miles

    These are by far the best value 4x4 on the market, the 3 litre is the Daddy of the range and in my opinion nothing else comes close.

    Excellent starter. The engine always caught first time and if pulled really well. They should be bullet proof and especially good for off-roading.
    I loved the car - for the 20 hours I got to drive it...
