I have tried to buy laptops from these people three times. The first time, it all went really well and I got my laptop in 24 hours. Great.

Purchased a Acer Laptop in July 2009, Hard Drive packed up, telephone Laptops Direct, they give you a Acer number.....3 hours later you get in touch with someone...in india....they collected the laptop 2 weeks later....kept it for 8 weeks........2 weeks after recieving it.....same problem again..... ...

An absolute shower. I was quoted 5 days delivery to Spain. Day 10 and still waiting.
E mails go unanswered. And their Customer Service (!) line....it's an expensive 0871 number (especially from Spain)....You are made to wait for ages ("You are number 9 in the queue")...a cynical money earner.
