    Ive owned digital camera's since the beginning, and this is one of the best I've used.
    Its great in every way to me, except if I could, I'd make it a bit slimmer and incorporate an on-screen battery meter.
    That's it!

    Unless the lighting conditions are GREAT you will not get clear shots with the Canon Ixus 500. The graininess of the photos are driving me nuts! I have tried changing the settings, the ISO, the lighting conditions, etc. But to no avail. I live in the UK and the minute it gets cloudy (every day) the ...

    The Canon Ixus 500 is an excellent piece of Kit. Family needed our first Digital camera. During a stop over at Dubai Duty free, My dad purchased one of these beauties for about 200 quid with a free extra Mem card.

    Canon Ixus 500 Digital Camera - Quality of images taken very good. Very happy with close-up of flowers and plants. Under good lighting conditions, excellent pix! Easy to use.
