I bought my Daisy 188 at K-Mart in N.Conway NH[now gone] in 1985 for $12.00 In the 24 years I've owned it I've had nothing but great times with it. I taught my daughter how to shoot with it, my nephew and some of my daughter's friends as well. My FAVORITE thing to do with the 188 is at cookouts. Get ...

I have the metal bodied version of the daisy model 188 pistol. I like the heavy feel and the parts don't wear out like they would on a plastic model. I strictly use it with bb's. and in the 25+ years I've owned it I've never shot any small animals with it. I use it on dogs and cats that come around ...

Decent, but low powered bb pistol. Got my Daisy Model for 2 bucks at a garage sale and it works great. Wondering if anyone has ever modded one with a stronger spring or whatever the propulsion system is...

got a Daisy Model 188 Pistol as a gift from my dads friend, not much power good for scaring away birds off your pear tree. With a well with a well placed shot through the neck it was able to take out a small bird at 20 feet.

My Dad and Uncle each had one of these. I used them several times while growing up but, opted for several modern Daisy's (mid 1960's) for my own. They are long gone but, not forgotten. I remember the ammo was a ,118 graphite BB Probably left over from the 2 years when expendable metals were scarce ...

I bought this Daisy model 188 Air Pistol when they were not using plastic and it sure makes a difference. The more plastic the lighter the gun. so what, I like the solid feel and the durability of good old iron. I have had this piece some 20 years now and will probably have it another 20 if I can ju ...
