Living in the Channel Islands I ride daily to work on bendy, greasy, slippery roads. So far the tyres have proved to be very reliable. Winter is still to come though, so watch this space!

Best advice I can give is get rid of the wax on the Bridgestone BT020 and allow to warm properly before letting Rip...

When they're on the wear limit mark get them replaced, they become dangerous at high corner speeds.
    Good wear too, 2700 miles.

Just fit them warm them up then enjoy them with superior grip and confidence. Stoner did and went on to win Moto GP Crown in 2007. He went from a crasher to a World champ in under a year!

I own a '05 Yamaha FJR 1300 and am ordering my third set of Bridgestone BT020's. I love these tires, given that I commute to work, take long tours, and ride the twisties of So Cal very often. All around great tire in feel and response, and terrific tread life.

First rear lasted 9300 miles, seco ...

Frankly, I think Derryaero's comments are largely inaccurate. Having a Srint RS myself, I've found the Bridgestone BT020 tyres fantastic. Touring, high speed blasts and the odd tomfoolery on the rear wheel have all been coped with without complaint. (what's that about a bad workman blaming his tools ...

I think the Bridgestone BT020 tyres are highly overrated. They at any rate don't work well on the Triumph ST/RS. They are wooden in feel and feel unstable. Replacing them with Metzler's, Pirelli's or Avon's transforms the bike to a great-performing, balanced bike! Dump these.

Had 3 sets of Bridgestone BT020's on my Blackbird. I found them to have excellent grip and feedback to the extent where I will not try any other tyre. The 020's work well enough to allow footpegs, kneesliders, toes and lower farings to touch down without any problems. They will slide exiting corners ...

I replaced my Bridgestone BT010's with these little gems (Bridgestone BT020) on my 2001 Fazer. They inspire supreme confidence in the dry, and equally in the wet. They have excellent cornering abilities, and also an excellent choice for touring and "quick" riding. A great all rounder.

Bridgestone BR020 tyres were fitted as standard on my st1300 from new. I got 8k plus miles of hard riding from a set, mainly with a pillion. I replaced the tyres with the same again, at a cost of £218.00. I had them fitted after a bit of bargaining, but don't forget these are a special (f) ...
