Last night a group of us had arranged to dine at Croydon's TGI for a surprise birthday. The table was booked on Monday 10/11/08, the deposit debited from my account on Wednesday. 29 of us arrived to be told that no booking had been made even though the money had been withdrawn from my account. The s ...

I like TGI Fridays as a whole but this experience wasn't the best. My food wasn't very good and the service on a whole was poor. It was a monday evening and was very quiet so I felt there was no excuse for slow service.

Having been to the Bluewater TGI's before and having had a terrible experience a couple of years ago, it might have been sensible to avoid. However, having erased from my mind this experience I convinced myself it wasn't so bad after all and to give it another go, how wrong I was. Nearly all of the ...

I visited the restaurant at 3oclock in the afternoon it was shocking as some of the staff were busy talking to each other, the cutlery was dirty, we waited 15mins for a starter and 20 mins for the main course. I had the steak which I wanted medium rare and came out well done and tough the fries look ...

The TGI's I visited was in Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port. Bear in mind it was early in the evening - 5.30 on a Saturday and we still had to wait 15 minutes for a table - I think this is deliberate to make you visit the bar as there were plenty of tables, they were just all filthy. The bar staff too ...

I went for dinner on Saturday at the TGI Fridays in Leicester Square with a friend for the first time and I was really shocked. The food was appalling, and much overpriced. The fries were burnt and the pasta was very soggy. The wicked wing tasted as if they had come from straight out the freezer, qu ...

I had a breakfast at TGI Friday one morning and it was simply revolting. The "fresh" fruit was obviously the same bowl used every morning and kept in the fridge overnight (everything was brown and soggy); the English breakfast was like rubber; and the buffett table was swarming with flies. The "fr ...

5 of us went to the Cheltenham branch of TGI Fridays in May. The food was mediocre, and the price high. The waitress was also very unfriendly. I complained to head office and they said they would send vouchers out. I had to contact them six times, and I waited for 7 weeks for 25 quids worth of vouch ...

After long anticipating dining out at TGI Fridays, I finally came across a franchise in Melbourne. What were my first impressions when I first set foot in the restaurant? Very disappointing. Service was rather poor. Considering it was a Friday, you'd think that more waiters would be on hand to greet ...
