i used to eat at Pizza Express in Wardour St in the 80s. This is so much worse, overpriced, soggy base, long waiting times, staff not up to it. Don't eat there at the weekend (or preferably at all).
Typical London dining experience all in all. :)

Pizza Express in Fleet is relatively new, so we thought we'd give it a try. We weren't expecting much, just a nice sit down meal with a few friends. We were making use of a voucher.
The service was great, pleasant and friendly. The food came as ordered, and in good time, so no complaints there. ...

Staff looked very unhappy, although the manager did try with the kids, The quality of the Pizza's was very poor, few toppin ...

Pizza Express is apallingly poor value for money.
Poor service - we told the waitress the kids' salads hadn't been included even though it was part of the meal deal. She shrugged and blamed it on a colleague. No apology or recompense.
The pizzas were small and the toppings skimpy.
Extra toppings we ...

I never thought i would be one to recommend Pizza Express so highly. I ate lunch their with a couple of friends last saturday (making use of a 50% off deal with a taste of London card). The restaurant was really busy, with a buzzy atmosphere perfect for a saturday afternoon. Our waiter, although new ...

Pizza Express, food was appalling, service was appalling, dirty tables, dirty glasses. The new pizza range with the centre missing with a salad was shocking, the salad was 1 small tomato cut into 4 pieces with a handful of rocket. Would never go there again!

We hadn't visited Pizza Express for a while because past visits were bad. It seems that the staff and management have changed now and we have lovely meal, which came to £13 with our 2-for-1 voucher. We only had a jug of tapwater though as the drinks are ridiculously expensive. So a great meal ...

Pizza Express in Truro is a truly depressing experience. The lovely building in a central location s the only plus point. Once inside, you might as well be in a Pizza Hut, without the quick service. Kitchen looks grubby, food looks unappetising, bill looks like daylight robbery. Go to Piero's down t ...
