    The tool they provide with the Black and Decker GK1640TK for tightening the screw I find is useless. You need a long screwdriver. I spend an awful lot of time trying to get the chain as tight as it should be.I've just destroyed the guide bar after about 2 hours of use - the chain has ripped through ...

    The chainsaw now needs either to be re-sharpened or I need to buy a new chain. The chains seem to be around £20....a new one of these chainsaws costs around £50- £60.

    I own one of these Black and Decker GK1640TK Chainsaws which comes with a 40cm Bar. I really works well and I rate it on the Value for Money. The only thing bad about this chainsaw is that it certainly loves oil and so you need lots of the black stuff!

    Well where do i start its all bad really. First niggle is that you can only use it for ten minutes then you must go have a break to let it cool off otherwise the motor burns out,
    Next niggle is that it is not properly balanced it hangs to one side and is uncomfortable to use.
