    I purchased my Numark PPD01 DJ Mixer with my first pair of SL1200MK2`s (£550 - what a bargain!) and was at first overwhelmed.


    The mixer was positive to feel; the weight of the unit itself was reassuring, the movement of all the faders, and the action of all the curve controls on the fader ...

    Well, it is digital rather than high-end analog. There are no digital inputs for connection to Numark digital capable decks. Numark still doesn't do crossfader curves correctly...they still sum in the middle without the slight dip in each channel when in the middle. Stanton, of course, actually o ...

    The Numark ppd01 delivers a crisp good quality of mixes and you can really hear the difference when upgrading from a worse mixer. This mixer is also value for money, as you get plenty of features to play with. You will not get bored with this mixer!!

    I had an Intimidation Blue mixer, but I found replacement faders hard to get so I upgraded to this, and so far it has been a revelation, my mixes are tighter, my control over levels has been more accurate.
