Good staff, good measures at the bar, small rooms in need of refurbishment and very small pool, good beach 2 minute walk.

Had a great week with 5 friends, staff could not do enough for you, 2 of us missed flight and staff organised new flights and transferers etc.
You are not in the nightlife hotspot here so if it's a more relaxing holiday you are after this is it, Salou is only a short bus/taxi ride away for the clubs ...

Clean rooms, very friendly staff and good food. Lovely hotel and even lovelier staff. Bad points, no air conditioning.

We were neither here nor there whilst at Esmeralda Apartments - it's an hours walk to Cambrils / Salou (definitely the place to go). The local bars are expensive and the I thought quality of food is questionable.

Very good.
We are 3 young girls and came here last year. We loved this place, the food was good English, the entertainment was amazing and the hotel is metres from the beach, which too was really nice. Very friendly place, nice bars and close to clubs in Salou. We will be back!

In general we enjoyed our stay at Esmeralda Apartments, and would go back, it was reasonably priced and the staff on the whole were great.
The entertainment was OK, especially the buddy holly impersonator, by far the best night of the week.

The Esmeralda is a great base to explore Costa Dorada. You get what you pay for, so don't expect five star luxury.
