    The hotel staff at Belle Mare Plage Hotel were exceptional in the service they provided. They were polite, very able and willing to tend to your every need.     We stayed 2 weeks during July 2007. Our first impact of the hotel as we arrived was stunning and for us that 'WOW!' feeling never went away. We had a truly fantastic time.     We have had a fabulous 2 week honeymoon at the Belle Mare Plage. The scenery is stunning - the hotel upgraded us to a beachfront suite and our uninterrupted view of the ocean was second to none.

    If you're after golf, then you may want to consider the Belle Mare. But if it's sheer luxury that you want, on a beautiful beach, go elsewhere.

    Have just come back from a very disappointing 2-week honeymoon at the Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius.
    Beautiful architecture, but the service is absolutely useless. Obviously no training or management provided to the hundreds of staff who float around the place.
