We went to John Lewis because of their reputation for value and reliability. Wewere sorely disappointed in their wedding gift service.

A poor performance. The member of staff seemed to have no idea of how to use his computer, asked us for addresses etc.several times, had to consult colleagues often and ambled around inconsequentially. We just left in disgust.

Considering they had received 8000 worth of revenue from our wedding, I would have expected better after sales care to assist with the items they'd incorrectly delivered.
On the upside the care beforehand and the ease of adding to the list online was just about worth the hassle afterwards!

Having just ordered a gift at Debenhams and having to pay £3.50 for delivery, I would strongly recommend The Gift list at John Lewis.
