Overall I would recommend the Volvo S40 car to most people but it would be a little small for tall people.

This is my third Volvo having owned an s40 2.0 an s40 1.8 and now the v40 2.0t I can state that the handling pack on 2.0 and 2.0t not on 1.8 is a must if you do a lot of country road work and there is a marked difference in performance when you go to the 1.8 provided you service them they can give ...

Bought new in late 2000, the 2001 Volvo S40 2.0 Turbo specification has been a very satisfactory purchase and a joy to own and drive.
The S40 has never had a good time from the motoring press in the UK but it is an under rated car. Those who own them seem to like them and keep them for some time.

The volvo S40 2.0 Turbo has one of the best specs I have known. The seats are very comfortable and the car is not thirsty. It is easy to park and the steering is excellent.
