I made a claim when my cat needed expensive out-of-hours treatment for a nasty urinary infection. First year premiums for a 15 year old cat were about £15 per month with Sainsburys PetCare. Aged 16 it went up to £24 (they said it was due to them changing underwriters), now I've got my renewal quote and I'm staggered. Cat is now 17 years and they want £46 per month (£554) ...

My dog had a foreign body in her ear recently for which the vet had to operate immediately under general anaesthetic. Although my Sainsburys PetCare Pet Insurance claim was not a huge one (£150)there was no dispute about paying and a cheque was received within 2 weeks. Only complaint I have i ...

The premium for the 9 year old has risen by £12 per month and I am dreading to find out how much ...

I thought Sainsbury's were a respectable insurer until the time came to claim! After speaking to 2 claims advisers and receiving 2 letters regarding my claim for £450, on the third phone call (me to them), they told me that my policy had in fact been cancelled (they admitted it was their fau ...
