I own 2 dogs who are noth insured with AFI, the reason i picked AFI was reading the reviews on the net.

My Dogue De Bordeaux developed epilepsy from 6 months old, this is not a cheap or easy thing to deal with, the insurance company were great and paid all the vet bills directly to the vet. There w ...

The claim I made to Animal Friends Insurance was promptly settled with no fuss. However, in the process of the claim they picked up that my cat had been treated for conjunctivitis when I first had him and I had not declared this. I accept it was my mistake, but it was an error not an effort to dec ...

The claim I made to Animal Friends Insurance was promptly settled with no fuss. In that process it emerged my cat had been treated for conjunctivitis when I first had him and I had not declared this. I accept it was my mistake. A brisk letter informed me all eye conditions would now not be covere ...

I rang animal friends after my pet insurance kept going up year after year without making a claim, they were prompt and courteous. They offered me a lifetime policy for my three dogs which was only £3.00 MORE THAN I WAS PAYING FOR 2. I like the fact that all profits go to animal charities so i ...

Now that Animal Friends Pet Insurance are not underwritten by E & L Insurance, a lot of the experiences people had written about above for claims may not apply. My experience of AFs is that they care about your pet and offer good cover for the price. My only claim was when it was still underwritten ...

I was expecting to be fobbed off and given the run around because my kitten's problems/treatment began just 1 day after the 14-day exclusion period ended. I couldn't have been more surprised when I got the letter saying the claim would be paid in full. Sure enough, I checked my account and only 3 da ...

100% of Animal Friends net profits go back to Animal Charities. I was very happy that they offer a competitive rate for their Lifetime policies. I was very satisfied with the customer services that I received and that I could easily speak to the person who I took the insurance out with. I have no ...

Animal Friends Pet Insurance seem unable to communicate with their customers on a reasonable level. Appears to be run by amateurs. They like to blame the customer for their shortfalls, not good experience dealing with them.

Animal Friends Pet Insurance: When I got the letter through in Dec 2005 to renew my dogs pet insurance for Feb I was shocked to say the least.
I was paying £13.50 a month and it had gone up to £17.99, even though I had never made a claim that year.
When I challenged this I was told it ...
