I am looking for an update but having looked at all reasonably priced phones, less than £100, the only phone I can find is another Sony Erisson K800i which has far too many items on it than I require.
Go back to making simple everyday phones loud enough to hear and better signal reception!.

The mobile is nice, easy and small, however the battery is very very very poor. There must be memory and more options

Don't buy this model and watch other models of Sony Ericsson phones with joysticks you best bet is to buy a Sony Ericsson with out a joystick because their menu system is class and the options on their phones or cool.

From the second day onwards I am facing problems in reception. In interiors the
Sony Ericsson K700i phone has absolutely no reception and it can be used as an alarm or a device for setting reminders!!! I gave it for servicing but after-sales service was so poor that they couldn't fix the problem. ...

It is a useful mobile phone, and it's the third generation Sony I have had. However, as it went past it 12 month life, it started to effectively fall apart. The battery discharges alarmingly quick. OK, I could get a new one. The power connector socket is broken, and I get an intermittent ring tone w ...

The Sony Ericsson K700i has a good quality camera and video, a great MP3 player, good games and it has loads of memory, so I have 12 songs on it with a bit of memory left. The screen is good, and it hasn't cracked. The features are excellent and the reception is great. I was in Wales high in the mou ...

If my Sony Ericsson K700i phone worked properly, I'd love it, but for now, I'm afraid that I'm a bit disappointed. Many of my friends have this phone, and have warned me about the joystick and guess what? Mine has now broken as well!
But overall, a great phone for the money.

I would definitely recommend the Sony Ericsson K700i mobile phone. It is strong and reliable, and it has a loud MP3 player and radio. The reception is excellent. The camera is great, and the memory is also good. The battery life has been excellent for me. It does not come with a USB cable though, so ...

Overall, the Sony Ericsson K700i is a good phone. It needs a longer battery life though, and a louder speaker, but it is Sony Ericsson at its best!
