I'd say it's a great game, but it can get too addicting. I use it now mainly for just chatting with friends that I've made, but if you're new, spending some time and earning NP (the Neopets' currency) to make your stay there more enjoyable. Neopets offers oppurtunities for graphic designs. Helps meet people around the world. Has lots of activities. Teaches kids responsiblity with money. It's just awesome

Wow, if your 7yr says something will 'die' if you don't spend $, maybe you should actually check upon that first...
