hi there i bought a varadero 125v in july 2009 and what a bike it feels like riding a large motocycle and after riding a yamaha xl125x it is almost like riding more like a 600 ,it has a good handleing and great feel and loks superb, what more can i say about this splendid bike nice one honda.

I have 2 of these Honda Varadero XL125V bikes the first got written off after 2 months and the second after a year, but i have used bits from both and streetfightered one.

in standard trim its a good bike comfy and easily able to beat pretty much any 4 stroke 125, its pretty slow by size standards ...

The Honda Varadero XL125 is a good first bike i suppose, will get you ready for bigger bikes because its heavy for a 125. bikes are supposed to have a thrill factor and sadly it is non existant in this bike and forget about overtaking! id say save a little bit more and get a 250
