I have had the Honda Varadero XL125V for 18 months. Its comfortable, good in town and good road presence, it feels larger than it is. I Used it for commuting 90 mile round trip and was fine at first but has developed recurring problem with cutting out on deceleration. Dealers have tried three att ...

This Honda Varadero XL125V is the first bike I have riden on the road and it is very user friendly. Some people say that the bike cuts out on deceleration - it has done this twice to me but all i do is reach down and turn the fuel tap on to reserve and it seems to solve it. I work in the tyre indust ...

Bought the bike for its size and looks, against which it comes up to scratch. Other reviews have said how smooth the engine is. Must be something wrong with mine then, as there's an uncomfortable vibration between 5-6000 rpm in top gear. I'm about 12 stone, so weight not a problem(?), but realisti ...

The Honda Varadero XL125V is a great little big bike. I have owned a Varadero since March, I've ridden it just about everyday since then with no problems at all. I used this bike to take my Motorbike test and passed first time, so this bike has it all. Reliability, Looks to kill (the amou ...

Excellent for commuting and when you need a bike that can be ridden rain or shine and will not complain about doing it. Also very reliable and smooth V-twin - expect to have zero problems with a good example of this bike. This said - the bike appears to have little or no acceleration - dont beli ...

I purchased the Honda Varadero as an insurance replacement following a recent accident in April 05, since then I have not regretted the purchase, it has carried to me to work everyday without so much as a blink, very reliable and decent preformance considering the power to weight ratio. The bike ...

I have had my Honda Varadero since 8/05 and it averages 240- 260 per tank exclusive of the reserve. 70mph and it still wants to go, tyres can't wait to change them as in the rain it is a little bit slippy, but what a great ride still

I bought a Honda Varadero XL125V to replace a Suzuki 125 Burgman. The improvement in road behaviour and comfort is very noticeable over the Burgman. However it would be nice to have at least some useable storeage space. When is a manufacturer going to combine the advantages of a scooter and a moto ...

Bought a Honda Varadero 2005 model on 17/02/06 with less than 1000 miles on clock. Never ridden before and at age 35 wanted something to take me to work and back and put a smile on my face, have found the ideal machine. Very forgiveing in everything I do, wish I had done this years ago.
