Like many other comments, RBS started off really well. The Business Manager was very helpful and all seemed to be going well in the first 3 years of contact. Banks are supposed to be supporting SME's. That has not been my experience. Hinder or selling things we don't need more like!

Joined as a student when they offered a better deal than other banks both in rates, overdrafts and joining bonus'. In the 10 years since then I've had no real issues or complaints and in general had a very good service though the charges for going overdrawn are very steep. Online banking is very g ...

As I landed a really well paid job and was changing from weekly temp wages to monthly - I told my bank and all the organisations I pay bills to - to change my payment dates to suit payday. All said OK. 3 then messed up and debited before my wages went in. RBS slapped over £300 of charges on ...

A draining, time wasting experience from Bank of Scotland incorrect handing of the account opening to their failure to mail an account statement on closing the account. Internet account opening resulted in incorrect type of account being opened. Funding the account resulted in the money being in l ...

There are plenty of branches and cash points available on the high street. Good overall bank and reliable service, but there is room for improvement. There rate of interest is not the best in the market.

Ive been with royal bank of Scotland for 6 years and have never had any problems. There was 1 time when I got a bank charge but they admitted they were in the wrong and refunded me back.

Absolutley disgusted with the way the Royal Bank of Scotland has treated me recently. They chased me to open a student account, yet they didn't explain the account to me properly, and now I'm £60 in debt with a card protection plan that I had unknowingly signed up for with the bank. I shall be ...

I have spent the last three months trying to get my RBS internet banking working. It has been working for the last two years then RBS did something to screw it up. Absolutely useless avoid at all costs.

I've been with Royal Bank of Scotland for some time, since i joined university. its a wonderful bank to use as a current account although in my hometown there seems to only be a few cash machines that accept the card. Online shopping is easy as the card is a switch/maestro debit card and is accepted ...

Unfortunately I have a mortgage and a current account with them. From day one they totally messed up my mortgage to the point where I nearly ended up homeless and it has been a continuous battle with them. They are completely incompetent and I hate everything about them and they have completely mess ...
