    A great bank brought to its knees by wide boys following the Halifax takeover. Their systems became totally shambolic from about 2002 to 2005, from personal experience, they seemed quite unable to tell using their internal systems whether payments from my account were fraudulent or not.     2nd time in 12 months HBOS failed to calculate my Tax Dividends correctly. It has been now taking over 2 1/2 months after their formal written acknowledgement to give me an updated statement.

    Very frustrating company to deal with. If I were you I would go straight to the Royal Bank of Scotland. They actually give you a manager to deal with.
