    had on my 205 gti and never had any oversteer problems when the Avon ZV1 were fitted (even with very enthusiastic driving) then when the time came to change them and i fitted p6000 pirelis i lost the back end (thankfully with a runoff). took the pirelis off and went back to avons!

    I had a set of these Avon ZV1 Tyres on my XR2 when I first got it and was impressed straight away by the level of grip and had to work really hard round any corners to get any complaints from them.

    I then put them on another XR2 I had and ran them round castle combe on quite a few sets of 5 laps ...

    I've had some Avon ZV1 Tyres on my Diesel Astra for the last year, they've done a little under 30,000 miles and I only now need to change them.

    They have been fantasic in both dry and wet conditions and to be honest, I've never had a better tyre.

    Just to give you an idea of how good the Avon ZV1 tyres are, they are fitted as standard equipment on the Caterham Seven (you know - that tiny English sports car that spanks other sports cars that cost twice as much :) ). I had them fitted to my Seven and I thought they were excellent. Very grippy. ...

    Having tried Goodyears, Pirelli and Bridgestones on my Audi S3 Quattro turbo I have found the Avons to be far better than expected. Ultimate limits of adhesion were not quite as good as Pirelli, but ride was much better as is wear life and predictable breakaway point.

    When I first got my Mondeo it was fitted with Goodyear eagle NCT5 (awesome tyres). Unfortunately, with it being a company car I had to have Avon tyres fitted.
