    I have spent a lot of time and money buying from JL. However over the last 18months, the staff have become ruder and less tolerent of customers. There is a need for staff refresher training on this subject.

    Got a HP laptop broke after a month or so, john lewis arranged to have it mended, it broke again, they had it mended again, broke again, they STILL wouldn't replace it, had it mended, its broke again now 4TH TIME....GUESS WHAT..."sorry madam its out of warranty".

    I ordered a washer on the 10 sept and John Lewis publicity infers that it will normally be delivered within 7 days. After 5 days I got a call saying that the delivery would be on the 26 Sept which is some 16 days, I rang to argue against this but nothing could be done leaving no option but to cancel ...

    Bought a 50" Samsung Tv from JL on 22/11/08 - Screen went completely Kapput nearly four weeks ago.     We purchased a bugaboo pram from John Lewis, so far we have had a new under basket, a new Chassis, 4 new wheels. As they are the main components of the product i am surprised that JL will no longer cover any of the components under warranty.

    Bought a John Lewis washing machine last year. It broke down and it has taken me over a month of pleading, shouting and cajoling and still no working washing machine.     I have ordered £2500 of furniture which was due to be delivered in 2-4 weeks.

    John Lewis seems to be going rapidly downhill.

    The operator told me that their customer service is now farmed out to a company operating from Glasgow.

    This company doesn't seem to realise that customers are happy to pay extra with John Leiws because they know thinkthat they will get good service ...
