We purchased an LG DLP projection TV model re44SZ21RD in 2004. It went back three times in three months before we were happy with the third TV. Last year (2008) the lamp blew and it cost £300 to replace with no guarantee of how long it will last. It is now 1 year later switching it's self off ...

Lasted a year before it packed in! At over 2k, not good value for money! The bulb went and to replace, it costs nearly £300. Customer Service from LG bad, same as from Comet - niether will be getting my custom again!

Would not recommend this LG RE-44SZ20RD Projection TV to anyone after all the hassle we have had with it. We have had the tv about 3 years and the lamp blew after one year which we replaced costing £400.00. The same thing has just gone again and the engineer says LG no longer makes the part ...

In some circumstances with the LG RE-44SZ20RD such as Interviews with a dark suit and light back ground we get a Halo type effect round the border between the two, or on football games the players may have a fine lineround the outside of them against the pitch, LG have just taken it away to check it ...

While the LG RE-44SZ20RD was attractively priced initially - too my cost have discovered that the lamp has only a limited life span and costs £450.00 to repair/replace. The LG authorised repair agent also required £372.48 just to collect and return the TV with no guarantee of repairabil ...

I was looking for a plasma TV but when I came across the LG RE-44SZ20RD I couldn't believe the quality for the price. I've now owned it for about a week and it is probably the best thing I have every bought. The picture in picture is brill, it's definitely saved some arguments in our house.
The onl ...

I had two 42inch Plasma TV's and was disappointed with the picture quality, skin tones looked like melting plastic and ghosting was dreadful. Philips was the worst so I got my £3,500 back and bought the LG RE-44SZ20RD. Great TV but the noise of the fans is driving me nuts, suppose you have to ...
