Have got more out of my PURE-LUXURY card as i also get the extra health benefits which none of the other cards offer! However this also comes at a price and some exclusivity. Amex only offers travel and leisure benefits but what about health?..Listen to us amex!!!

I have recently cancelled my Centurion card, having had one since 1999. The travel service is poor - the internet offers better deals.
There is really no benefit to this product and the customer service whilst initially was great is know nothing better than average.

I was one of the first in '99 to be invited to be a Black Card holder. I'm known as a 'Charter Member' which means I'm one level above that of a normal Black Card user.
I'm only 36, but have had an Amex card since I was 21, so they know me well..

I was offered a "Black Card" based on prior purchase history. After paying the outrageous fees for years and never using any of the "exclusive" services, I finally downgraded to a Costco Cash Back AmEx.

Yes, its true that there are other cards with zero annual fees etc. Being able to use the Amex Black basically says that the user does not mind paying for his perks/kicks.

Centirion Card, is the perfect card for me, and I wouldn't give mine up for anything. I can use my card everywhere I want to. I have no problems with processing large transactions. I have never had anything but fabulous Customer Service, and I always receive upgrades to hotel rooms.

Why deal with amex when they don't even know what the word
'customer service" really means. for each and every one of you readers think about this:
There are so many credit cards on the market that offer zero
annual fee's. i would think that these high annual fee's could be donated to some charity ...

You have to fight to get to someone who cares when you call the American Express Centurion Black customer service.
Its seems you get the same service as Platinum users
Only ever had an upgrade once with a very expensive hotel
Travel service is terrible, they often just look at Expedia.
People do not ...
