    The Gamo R77 Combat is a durable powerful pistol however the seal between the compressed air canister is sometimes unreliable

    I've had nothing but trouble since I bought my Gamo R77 . Very hard to get the laser sight to hold an exact point and the cap holding the batteries would not close. (had to tape it closed), no 'hex wrench' was included (one was sent on request.) It had very little power, squirrels jumped up and down ...

    i loved this Gamo R77 Combat! perfect for shooting in my make-shift shooting range in my basement. as soon as i got it sighted in, i got perfect groups all the time. it's a sweet little thing.

    When I first bought my Gamo the firing did not work properly. Then I found out a previous owner had tampered with the firing mechanism inside the gun.     I got my gun off a mate for £3.50 it was new so i thought bargin! got it home and was quite pleased with the first couple of shots then i noticed that it was loosing power fast. not a good investment unless you can get one really really cheap

    O.K. If you get one and it does not work it would be my suggestion to send it back. I fixed mine just to see what the problem was, but I have been working on my own airguns for 10 years and if you are not experienced with high pressure systems or airguns you can easily hurt yourself.

    The Gamo R77 Combat has good handling, is fairly accurate with iron sights. Not loud, but not too powerful. In my opinion it has a poor construction of laser cap.
