They have gyms everywhere which would be great in an ethical organisation who treated you fairly, however with Fitness first, all they do it get you signed up and leave you for dead. Fitness First - Rude, arrogant, aggressive and discourteous. It is almost impossible to cancel their membership, they will find out a hundred ways to carry on debiting you and taking your hard earned money.After 7 months im still deal with this problem. I was a member of Fitness First Berkeley Square branch for which they charge as a platinum club purely because of the location and certainly not for the facilities which were frequently filthy and overcrowded due to the extremely small size of the club.

I would not recommend Fitness First Reading, they have a good size gym but do not look after it. AVOID Fitness First - Leicester Central!

Reasons Why:

1) Cramped conditions - if you like punching other members in the face whilst using the equipment then you're at the right gym. The gym is based in an old retail centre and the building is just not right for a gym

The equipment is excellent and at my Fitness First, it is entirely possible to get a workout during the hours of 5-8pm. The gym and studios are great - perhaps the steam room/sauna facilities are a little small and lately, faulty, but the fitness staff and resources are great. I would recommend.
