i'd give clarkes a 3 for comfort but the styles of the shoes and fittings like 1/2 sizes have greatly diminished it is now mainly stiletoes or flats what happened to good old fashioned strong thick heeled shoes!

I like the way that SOME shoes look quite nice but, most of the shoes are either really ugly. Their school shoes are completely horrible and unsutible. I was looking up girls school shoes on the Clarks Shoes website and all I could see was ugly shoes, high heels and boots! Clarks used to be such a g ...

I just got some clarks daisy pets shoes for my daughter. she is really satisfied with them. They are normal black school shoes but have pretty black jewls on them. The insole lifts up and inside the heel there is a little doll and a dog. On the bottom of the shoe there is a clear plastic window whic ...

Clarks Shoes - My daughter has only been in reception for less than 2 weeks and the back of the sole of her shoes are badly frayed with great chunks missing! All she has done in run around like a normal child. I took them back to the shop but they only had one pair in her size - black patent, not re ...

When my daughter was small I had a couple of pairs seemingly badly fitted, I didn't return as a customer until recently now she is 9 and I have a son of 5. Alas, now have had another bad experience where the machine measured a half size wrong for her and then my son was fitted a whole size wrong ap ...

I think Clarks is a very good shop I would rather buy one pair of higher priced shoes than 7 pairs of cheaper ones and the shoe care works fantastically.

I used to buy Clarks shoes for my children for the last few years, however my branch in Lewisham, S.E. London never seems to have the sizes available, there are a few styles on display but due to the lack of sizes available I have just stopped buying shoes from there, I have 3 children and it is a n ...

The choice for Clarks shoes has gone downhill greatly. I haven't found any compromise with the quality however. My children walk to and from school every day each journey being 0.6 miles. The shoes were brought last September at the start of the school year and are still going strong. The girls are ...

Clarks provide a poor older girls' school shoe selection to start with; they rarely have many sizes in stock; there is no help from the shop in finding correct size; the Clarks head office has run out of nearly all G width girls' school shoes already from the Spring new catalogue - they only offer 2 ...

We tried to purchase a pair of school shoes and they had not got any in my daughters size so we asked if they could order a pair but they said no and gave us a customer ordering card and we looked at it and we had to pay '£3.00 extra which was annoying but clarks is the only place/brand that ...
