I found the car was overall prepared well, valeted and new plates at no extra cost even after I refused to pay the extra £87 no doubt this was to be the salesmans commission. I have a few small issues with them like no security pass with car and letting me take car with very very little fuel ...

Don't hand over a penny until you have seen the car, don't let them fit any extras, If it hasn't already got it don't buy it, or get someone else to fit it. If it needs repairs walk away. Don't fall for the its an ex-demonstrator, they may also be likely an ex-hire car, if its got bar code stickers ...

I bought a car from Motorpoint Honda Civic IMA 07 1200 miles they had it painted and hadn't repaired the problem ie painted over a chip and left it there. They hadn't washed the car before they sprayed it an it looked rough on and around the back bumper detracting from its value. When I said I didn' ...

Recently bought a Seat Leon from Motorpoint Burnley (via their online sales). Car had to be transported from Newport which took some time.
Arranged to view car - arrived to find it hadn't been prepared and couldn't test drive it (big mistake!).
Picked the car up on a Friday to find they'd still not ...

We could have actually written the same review as the person before! We went to the Peterborough Motorpoint and chose a car on their website that was 11 months old. Waited 3 weeks for it to come. When we came to view it it was filthy inside and out. There were some small scratches that we could h ...

Motorpoint stack them high and sell them cheap. There's no frills - e.g. you don't get a service or valet thrown in. It's a bit of an issue not being able to see the car beforehand. We turned up on site after having paid a £300 deposit and having waited three weeks for a car to be transported ...

I have bought 2 cars from Motorpoint a used 1 and a new 1, I never had any problems with them and thought the prices were great. I would buy another car from them.

In spite of the low prices, the sheer hassle involved in dealing with Motorpoint means that I would hesitate before recommending them to a friend.

You could pick up a bargain. I wanted something more for my money and I didn't feel confident in the service Motorpoint were offering. I left and went to Ron Skinners in Tredegar. I got the same vehicle and was cheaper.

I bought a 14 month old car that had not had its annual service, it took around a dozen emails / phonecalls plus a chat with my trading standards office before they confirmed that the "promised advertised warranty " was valid - although I still had to pay for the "missed" service to validate it! My ...
