    I would not advise anyone to trust important emails to this service. A year ago they deleted all the mail I had saved in my in-box and despite much correspondence never even apologised.     Well I have previously been with Lycos and with no problems!

    This time I get a account with them for just web space but they took 7 days to get it up (they state 2 days) and it's not even fully working.

    Oh am I glad I have found somewhere to vent my complete disappointment with Lycos.
    If you are a UK base company do not host with Lycos.co.uk at whatever cost their servers are not based in the UK and therefore google will not class submit in google.co.uk

    The Lycos web site has been down for days. I am travelling and cannot access any emails from home. Where are we meant to find any information? This is disgusting!
