    In these violin sonatas (Harmonia Mundi. Andrew Manze: violin, Richard Egarr: harpsichord.) Handel's andantes are introspective, sometimes a little sad but never sentimental like a few violin-adagios from Bach. The allegros are vivid and catch the ear but never show off like some allegros from Vival ...
